The Guardian Holster is based on our best selling Range Holster and incorporates a level 2 spring release hood system. This strong-side, OWB holster utilizes 0.093" thick Kydex to handle more demanding environments. One downward motion with your thumb quickly releases the spring activated level 2 hood system allowing the firearm to be drawn smoothly. Additional retention can be individually adjusted with the dual retention screw system. This provides further retention even if the hood has been released. This holster is pre-cut to accept slide mounted red dot optics (Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint, Holosun, etc.). There is also 0.5" of clearance for your raised suppressor sights if your pistol is so equipped. We offer several mounting options for the Guardian Holster to assist you in setting up your loadout.

Now that I have spent adequate time using this holster, I can give it an accurate review. The holster fit and build quality is great. I put it on a safariland single strap leg shroud. Cool set up. It is the ONLY holster made for the g23/g5 with a light. Kudos to Fury on that. It functions very well and the retention bail works quickly and surely. My only gripe is that the trigger for the bail is right in the way of getting a good purchase on the grip. This is an issue even when the bail is already open and I am just using the holster as a regular non-retention holster. It sticks up too high and blocks your thumb. It looks like a retrofit part could be sold with a lower trigger and maybe even rotated about 20 degrees forward to give more thumb clearance. Or maybe the entire bail pivot and trigger could be redesigned to move it forward to give more clearance. Anyway, it is a super quality holster and I am glad to have it. Thank you Fury for being ahead of the pack.

Absolutely wonderful holster. So comfortable that I almost forgot that I was wearing it all day on the farm. Retention is great with or without using the hood, fit and finish is top notch. Will definitely be buying more holsters and recommending them to all my friends.
